My mom and several other relatives have been nagging me asking, "What do you want for Christmas?" My response is a simple "I don't know." She tells me that if there is nothing I want, she will have to give me money or gift cards.
After looking on the internet for a little while searching for something I may want, I passively gave up. The truth is, there is nothing material that I am looking for this Christmas. Yes, it is nice to give and receive gifts. There is nothing I necessarily "need."
I am looking forward to the New Year and hopefully a new direction in my life. The hopeless romantic I am, one could say I am looking for love. What do I want to major in when I transfer to a four year university? All I want for Christmas is answers to some of my life's questions.
